Relief Gel

Relief GelRelief Desensitizing Gel is a soothing blend of Potassium Nitrate (5%) and Fluoride (0.240%) which helps to prevent tooth decay and effectively reduce sensitivity often associated with thermal changes, tooth whitening, acids, sweets, and/or direct contact. Relief provides a choice of two distinct delivery systems. Patients may either apply it directly into their whitening tray for maximum coverage, or via a standard soft bristle toothbrush. Available in a 0.75-oz tube. Mint.

Indications: Relief is a dental gel for sensitive teeth and cavity prevention. This product will help reduce painful sensitivity of the teeth to cold, heat, acids, sweets or direct contact. Also helps prevent tooth decay.

Warning: Sensitive teeth may indicate a serious problem that may need prompt care by a dentist. See your dentist if the problem persists or worsens. Do not use this product longer than 4 weeks unless recommended by a dentist.

Directions for use:

  1. Tray Method: Fill applicator trays approximately 1/3 full. Insert trays over upper and/or lower teeth. Gently bite down on trays for at least 4 minutes. Remove excess gel with toothbrush or clean finger. After treatment, rinse and expectorate excess gel.
  2. Tooth Brush Method: Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Apply a one-inch strip of gel onto a soft bristle toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least one minute twice a day, or as recommended by a dentist. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth.
