The composite resin restoration just placed should give you years of comfort, function and color stability. We advise that for the next 24 hours you do not smoke or eat any staining-like foods to minimize any discoloration in your new cosmetic filling (such as grape juice, red wine, tomatoe sauce, coca-cola, coffee) because the material may still be setting.

The longevity of cosmetic dental work is very dependent not only on the quality of our work but just as important is your home care and habits such as brushing, flossing, and whether or not you smoke or drink deep staining foods, besides regular preventative maintenance cleanings.
